Fancy yourself as a potential Ellen MacArthur or Ben Ainslie, harnessing nature's resources and cutting across the water under the power of the wind?  This lot has kindly been provided by Virgin Experience Days so you can feel the joy of sailing with a full day course under the guidance of a qualified instructor learning the skills of sailing a yacht or dinghy. You'll be taught the points of sail, rules of the waves and the gybe.  A great introduction to the fun of sailing. 

When you arrive you will be issued with safety clothing and buoyancy aids etc. There will be a safety briefing and an outline of the course, before heading off in the sailing craft for a demonstration by the instructor and then hands-on sailing.  The location for the course can be either in Falmouth, Cornwall or Brighton, Sussex.

This Virgin Sailing Day Experience for 2 people could be yours and you'll be supporting Neptune Coastline Campaign, the National Trust's longest running appeal.   

Over the past 47 years the Neptune Coastline Campaign has helped to acquire and maintain the 720 miles of coastline in England, Wales and Northern Ireland now in the care of the National Trust.  Support for the Neptune Coastline Campaign helps us to permanently preserve and enable public access to miles of our most special coastline.

 Please note the following Virgin Experience Days terms and conditions:
- Minimum age: 12. (Under 18's need parent/guardian consent.) 
- Maximum weight: 18 stones (115kgs)
- Participants should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb around the vessel. The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue. 
- This activity runs on selected dates and is subject to availability.
- Some centres only operate on certain days of the week, not always on weekends.  
- Virgin Experience Days recommends that you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. 
- VALIDITY: The voucher will be valid 9 months from the date of issue, so this voucher will be valid until 31st December 2012.  This is only a guideline and they advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.  You will need to book and take your experience before the expiry date.
