A once in a lifetime experience to get your hands on your very own custom made cricket bat!
You'll have the chance to pick your own willow and experience the production of a bat designed and manufactured to suit your very own batting needs.
You'll learn all there is to know about cricket bats at the Hunts County Bats Company in Cambridgeshire, who have been manufacturing them for over a century and still make them in a traditional way to get the best bat from their selected materials. A perfect present for any cricket fan!
This exclusive Oxfam Experience is for two people and includes:
- Picking the materials for your own personal bat
- Watching Tony Cook at work. A master craftsman with over 40 years experience who has made bats for the likes of Geoffrey Boycott, Imran Khan, Alan Lamb and Andrew Flintoff to name but a few, and now you!
- A tour of the factory learning everything there is to know about cricket bats and making them
Conditions
Date is to be agreed between the buyer and donor. Please note any children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure you get in touch with the donor within 4 weeks of day of purchase to confirm participation or experience will expire. This experience is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please note - the experience is for the creation of one cricket bat only.
