Stewart Mechem is a British Contemporary Abstract Artist, painting mainly in acrylics. Completely self taught, he started painting marine inspired Abstract Art in 2003 whilst living at Westover Hall in Milford-on-Sea.

This followed a highly colourful personal and business life much of which was spent in the Fashion Industry where he worked on creating advertising campaigns for brands  including Aquascutum with photographers and stylists including Lord Snowdon and Isabella Blow.

Influences of the sea and coastline of Lymington and the New Forest have inspired the dramatic contemporary abstract seascapes and skillful combination of vibrant colours which have become a trademark of his paintings.  This is your chance to own one of his vibrant pieces, especially painted for you to display in your own home or office.
