All About Eve
by Annoushka & Bouke de Vries
Measurements: 185x185x610mm
“All About Eve” uses reclaimed broken 19th and 20th century ceramics and integrates jewels from Annoushka’s collection.
“I like the unexpectedness of using broken ceramics to create something jewel-like. Bouke is using pieces that would otherwise be discarded and is creating a work of art” Annoushka says.
In this piece, Eve holds a Mythology 18ct yellow gold and diamond Apple amulet.

The name Lalique is the stuff that dreams are made on. It evokes the brilliance of jewellery, the wonder of transparency, the sparkle of crystal. Before it became a brand name, it was the name of a man, an artist of genius, René-Jules Lalique and of his heirs who shared his creative flame.

Shalev has spent over two decades designing glass, porcelain, art objects, paper products and more for her own studio and for major firms around the world, such as Ritzenhoff AG, the German producer of crystal and glassware. Michal has created advertising designs for VP Bank in Liechtenstein and carpets and textiles for JAB Anstoetz. Her name is well known throughout Europe for her designs.
The inspiration for the figure of Eve holding an apple came from the ancient Mesopotamian cultures that existed more than 3,000 years ago in the Mediterranean region. Small figurines of fertility goddesses, with large thighs and bottom were found in many archeological excavations. This inspiration gave this "Eve" the shape of her body.
The right side of her face was drawn like a primitive figurine. To "bring" the statue to our modern time, the rest of the statue was designed in naïve humoristic modern lines and colours.
The biblical story tells us that Eve took the forbidden fruit from the serpent and ate it. Shalev decided to give the story her own interpretation: "Eve" is holding an apple in her left hand, serving it as a colorful gift to the world, a gift of knowledge with its various meanings and infinite depth. Her right arm is turning to a serpent as a part of her body; symbolising her sensuality and sophistication; after all, she is not naïve…. She is a "Sweet Temptation"….
The statue is 220 mm tall and 50 mm thick, stands on a pedestal 140 x 140 x 30 mm. It is made of polyresin and hand painted.
The flagship of Moët & Chandon, Moët Impérial is the most accomplished and universal expression of its style. It reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three champagne grapes and the richness of the region’s best vineyards to reveal the magic of the world’s most loved champagne.
Moët Impérial distinguishes itself by an exotic fruitiness, a generous palate and a confident maturity, that continually seduce and delight.
Moët Impérial is an extremely accomplished assemblage of the most diverse selection of crus in Champagne, with a predominance of Pinot Noir (45% to 50%), for intensity and structure, elegantly complemented with Pinot Meunier (35% to 40%) and with Chardonnay (10% to 20%) for freshness.
The use of 30% of carefully selected reserve wines completes the assemblage and enhances its harmony, complexity and consistency.
The colour is an elegant golden straw yellow with amber highlights.
Its aromas reveal an exotic fruitiness – yellow peach, plum, pineapple and honey – with floral nuances (lime blossom) and elegant blond notes (brioche and fresh nuts).
The palate is seductive and generous, combining intensity with roundness, fullness with suppleness, followed by a lively crisp finish to reveal the magical balance of champagne.
This Moët & Chandon bottle has been specially crafted at Moët & Chandon with unique Swarovski diamonds, and is a unique piece.

Born in Tel Aviv in 1951, educated at the Jerusalem Academy of Art and later at the Architectural Association in London, Ron Arad co-founded with Caroline Thorman the design and production studio One Off in 1981 and later, in 1989, Ron Arad Associates architecture and design practice. In 2008 Ron Arad Architects was established alongside Ron Arad Associates.
From 1994 to 1999 he established the Ron Arad Studio, design and production unit in Como, Italy. He was Professor of Design Product at the Royal College of Art in London up until 2009.
Ron Arad’s constant experimentation with the possibilities of materials such as steel, aluminium or polyamide and his radical re-conception of the form and structure of furniture has put him at the forefront of contemporary design.
Alongside his limited edition studio work, Arad designs for many leading international companies including Kartell, Vitra, Moroso, Fiam, Driade, Alessi, Cappellini, Cassina, WMF and Magis among others.
No Solution No Problem
Blue A1 print, hand-signed and numbered

based on Prototype "Oh-Void (No Solution No Problem)" chair, 2006
“I’m solving problems that don’t exist,” Ron Arad stated in a recent interview (Interiors, April 2008). Or rather, he’s not solving. “There is no solution because there is no problem.” And so the riddle: how to design in a world full of design? Even Arad admits we don’t need more chairs. The Greeks hammered out that problem three thousand years ago. If the klismos was good enough for Athens, it’s good enough for us. But we’ll never cease wanting, or building. A solution represents termination, a breach of continuity—full stop. Let’s not.
The steel skeleton of this prototype “Oh-Void” approximates a running spiral: it winds, unwinds, winds again. In geometry a spiral is an open curve constantly receding from or approaching a fixed point; it never ends. But the chair’s outer silicone structure comprises two ellipses. An ellipse is a closed curve; it never begins. Those pesky contradictions circle back.
On one side of the skeleton, Arad incised Marcel Duchamp’s famous riddle: “Il n’y a pas de solution parce qu’il n’ya pas de problème.” Its English translation echoes on the reverse. Perhaps Arad (and Duchamp before him) read Wittgenstein: “For an answer which cannot be expressed, the question too cannot be expressed.” Which way out of this maze? The answer is clear, we need only express it: design, like language, is embedded in our lives. No problem with that.
“Chambre à manger” collection / Design: Philippe Di Méo
It all started with Louis XV’s private dinners. The “Petits Soupers”, designed to honour a privileged few who were invited to savour the refined cuisine of the most inventive chefs of the time, already allowed to pay court to the king while attending his cooking class. The pleasures of food and women were elegantly combined during dinner for the greatest joy of this libertine era.
Cuisine being the expression of one’s era, Di Méo decided to create a collection of little gourmet rituals. Moments of savouring, pure pleasure, discovery and shared games. Compositions made of an object highlighting both RAYNAUD’s porcelain-making skills and its mastery of the material, as well as a high quality ingredient or delicious tidbit.
The Love Apples contains Intoxicating tobacco notes with hints of honey and leather, blending delicate iris and powerful cedar.

Tamara Comolli was founded a little more than 17 years ago. In the beginning, Tamara’s enthusiasm for coloured gemstones was more of a hobby than a business. She studied gems, travelled to the mines, and collected her favourite stones.
From her childhood, one can see the influence of a father who managed several casinos in France, Spain and Gibraltar. She was raised in the glamorous world of European high-society surrounded by the trappings of wealth and luxurious jewellery. It was inevitable that this time of influence and cosmopolitan style would lead her into this profession and style.
Thus was born the innovative creations of the TAMARA COMOLLI® FINE JEWELRY COLLECTION which combines a sense of understatement and playfulness. “My jewellery should be worn every day – away from intimidation and with a casual understatement even for very high end items! Jewellery does not belong in a safe and does not need a special occasion. Women want to express their personality not only with their clothing, but also with their choice of jewellery. TAMARA COMOLLI should underline the individuality of the woman and allow the jewellery to become a casual presence. At the same time I am looking for a timeless yet new realisation – a refined classic.“
