Meatmaster is delighted to support Helen & Douglas House. They are kindly offering a fabulous hamper full of local and regional meats including beef, lamb, pork and poultry.
Meatmaster originally began as a small butcher's shop in Oxford's famous Covered Market but is now part of Alden Catering Butchers - one of the best known catering butchers in Oxfordshire.
Meatmaster is based on the Osney Mead industrial estate off the Botley Road in a state of art purpose built shop and is open to public and trade customers. No card is needed – just turn up! Please note, the picture is for illustration purposes only. The value of the prize is £60.

The Hook Norton Brewery was started over 150 years ago. The beer it produces today is enjoyed not only in the UK but in many other countries. Hook Norton Brewery remains one of only 32 independent family-run breweries; and you won’t find a finer example of a Victorian tower brewery anywhere.
It's also the only brewery still driven by steam.
Brewery tours are available Monday to Friday.
Tours start from the Visitors Centre and last approximately 2 hours. They consist of a trip around the Brewery, museum and village museum, followed by beer sampling. On leaving you will receive a badged glass as a memento of your visit.
The building is a "traditional" tower brewery with six storeys and several flights of steep stairs. Regretfully the Brewery itself is not suitable for people with walking difficulties or children under 12. However, the shop and reception area is able to cater for all.

At Helen & Douglas House we often care for people with complex dietary requirements as well as making traditional and healthy food. We have a team of chefs who provide delicious meals and snacks for the children, young adults and their families when they stay with us.
This is a 'virtual gift', directly helping to provide hospice care for children and young adults with life shortening and limiting conditions. Catering costs are £30 per patient per day.
