Winston's Wish helps children rebuild their lives after the death of a parent or sibling, enabling them to face the future with hope. We offer practical support and guidance to families, professionals and anyone concerned about a grieving child. We want children to avoid the problems that can occur in later life if they are unable to express their grief.

Every 30 minutes in the UK, a child is bereaved of a parent. We have found that with support and information, children can be helped to understand what has happened and can slowly learn to live with their loss.

Since 1992, we have supported over 50,000 children and their families. To continue this work, we need to raise £1.4m every year. With your support we can achieve this and we can go on to develop our work to support many more children across the UK.
