Through TLC leading UK surgeons and their medical teams take their skills to countries where they are most needed. They work with doctors and medical staff on locations helping them to develop their own expertise in running a living kidney transplant programme, which gives the chance for one healthy member of a family to save the life of another with kidney failure.Each centre is "twinned" with UK specialists who provide ongoing advice and support until the centre is self-sufficient, creating a global transplant links community.
