Established in 1895, the National Trust began with the gift of Dinas Oleu - 4 ½ acres of wild Welsh coastline with the most stunning views.  As just part of our work, we now look after more than 720 miles of coastline across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.  These places are now protected for ever, for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to the support we receive from people around the country who share our love of the coastline, we are hard at work managing every mile of the beaches, coves and cliffs in our care.  Support for the Neptune Coastline Campaign helps us to permanently preserve and enable public access to miles of our most special coastline.
