Help for Heroes (H4H) provides support for wounded servicemen and women injured during the course of their duty.  H4H was launched on 1^st October 2007 as a short term charity appeal with an urgent need to raise £6 million for the swimming pool and gymnasium complex at Headley Court, the tri-service rehabilitation centre in Leatherhead.  H4H was established in response to the desire of the public to do something practical to show their gratitude and support for current servicemen and women doing their duty in often harrowing environments and circumstances.
