2 billion people worldwide live in poverty housing. Consequently, they are frequently ill, struggle to earn a living, buy food or medicine and often cannot afford to their children to school.

Habitat for Humanity helps to break the cycle of poverty through housing. We empower local communities to tackle housing need in their area, bringing them together and teaching them valuable skills that they can then use to improve other aspects of life in their neighbourhood.
